Ellington, Clarkson Post Career Highs, Still Not Enough to Beat Wizards
Honestly, I can't keep track of how many games the Lakers have lost already. They were this close to pull a victory, but the Wizards came back, as expected of one of the top teams in the East. Wayne Ellington had the game of his career as he was the Lakers' top performer with a career high 28 points on 12-20 shooting, but it wasn't enough as the Lakers let one slip away, losing to the Wizards 98-92. Jordan Clarkson also had the game of his rookie season scoring 18 points on 8-18 shooting, living up to the "late round steal" category. Ed Davis was the Lakers' leading scorer off a inefficient and injury-ridden bench with 14 points on 6-7 shooting.
