TrueRaiderLaker Productions Return: Kobe Bryant Tribute Wallpaper

It's been awhile since I've done a TrueRaiderLaker Productions standalone post. But, lately I've been getting back to the swing of things on the Photoshop end. I wanted to do something simple. So, I worked on yet another Kobe Bryant-themed wallpaper since 2016 and fitting that I share this in between today, his actual birthday and tomorrow, which was officially declared "Kobe Bryant" day in Orange County, CA.

Nearly six months later after the death of Kobe, Gigi, members of the Altobelli and Chester family, Christina Mauser, and pilot Ara Zobayan, it still hasn't sunk in to accept the reality that these people are gone. Kobe's death especially left a huge black hole not just within the Lakers, not just within the NBA, but in the sports and entertainment world in general. Not many athletes today were fortunate enough to witness Michael Jordan in his prime. But, they were fortunate to witness Kobe Bryant. He was arguably the closest player we've seen to Michael Jordan in terms of skill and mentality. Five rings say it all.
