Beaten and Bruised: Lakers Fall to Nuggets

The story of the disappointing 2012-13 campaign continues for the Lakers and it wouldn't get easy from here on out. The Lakers' big men: Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, and Jordan Hill have suffered injuries in this one game vs. the Nuggets. Howard (shoulder) lead the Lakers with 14 points and a season high 26 rebounds, but the performance of Howard and Kobe Bryant, who scored 29 points, couldn't keep the Lakers upright as the Lakers write another chapter to the 2012-13 nightmare against the Nuggets 112-105. Steve Nash tallied 10 points and 13 assists and is 5 assists away from reaching 10,000 in his career. Pau Gasol added 11 points, but suffered an unintentional hit to the head after an elbow by Javale McGee. MWP tallied 16 points, and Jordan Hill came off the bench with 13 points, but suffered a sore right hip. The injuries to Dwight, Pau, and J. Hill hurts the biggest strength of the Lakers, size and now have to be dependent on unproven big men like Robert Sacre and Earl Clark to fill in a huge void when the Lakers face the Rockets tonight to begin their Texas road trip.

Final Score: vs. Denver 112-105 [L]
