And so the tanking continues. The Lakers couldn't find any way to balance the personnel within the team offensively and especially defensively. Absolutely nothing. Steve Nash was the Lakers' top performer with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists, but horrible defensive breakdowns and lack of balance bolstered the Lakers' demise to the D-Rose-less Bulls 83-95. Kobe Bryant, another terrible shooting performance, scored 16 points on 7-22 shooting, MWP and Earl Clark each tallied 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Pau Gasol came off the bench with 15 points and 12 rebounds. It wouldn't get any better for the Lakers as they end a three game road trip with a second matchup against the Grizzlies in Memphis.
