Lakers give a little scare in the end despite win

The Lakers successfully sweep their 3 game home stand heading into their annual Grammys road trip. Dwight Howard got some early touches in the game to lead the Lakers with 24 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists including 5 steals and 4 blocks as the Lakers, despite a fierce rally, managed to hold off the stingy Hornets 106-111. Earl Clark had his most spectacular game for the Lakers this season as he capped off his Tuesday night with 20 points and 12 rebounds including shooting 4-5 from beyond the arc. Kobe Bryant, another 10+ assists night for him as he finished with 14 points and 11 assists, while Steve Nash tallied 12 points including hitting one big shot in the 4th to somewhat silence the furious Hornets rally. Antawn Jamison and Jodie Meeks contributed huge off the bench as Jamison scored 16 points, including a clutch floater to seal the game and Meeks scored 13 points. As mentioned the Lakers start their Grammys road trip tonight as Steve Nash returns to Phoenix to lead the Lakers against the Suns.
