Earl Clark Shines, But Lakers Fall Short

Earl Clark, a former late first round pick, proved to be a diamond in the rough during the Dwight Howard trade. Drafted in the same year as Jordan Hill in the 2009 Draft, Clark proved that the Lakers struck gold again with a first round pick who never got any opportunities as he lead the Lakers off the bench with 22 points and 13 rebounds, but moral victories do not count in the win column, as the Lakers missed on opportunities to rally against the Spurs 105-108 and the majority of the fourth quarter, the Spurs looked like they were trying to give the game away. Kobe Bryant tallied 27 points, MWP racked up 23 points, and Steve Nash totaled 14 points as they were a big part in the Lakers' rally that fell short. They will try again tonight and crack a win as they face another daunting opponent in the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Final Score: @ San Antonio 105-108 [L]
