LAKERS vs. Warriors Halftime Post

Score: GS 58 LAL 43

Alright welcome in to the halftime post of the game between the Lakers and the Golden State Warriors where the Warriors turn it up and head into the locker with a 15 point lead.

The Positives

All I can say is not a lot of good things to say about the first half. Other than the fact that the Lakers have got it going on threes in the 1st quarter, but overall, they have been limited to 40% shooting from beyond the arc. It's not that bad though, but the three pointers were non-existent during the 2nd quarter and credit to the Warriors for adjusting their outside defense. Jordan Hill is having another solid game with 12 points and 6 rebounds, Ryan Kelly started fast, but slowing down currently and not enough to put them on a solo portion on the positives list.

The Negatives

Not stopping Stephen Curry. Curry, all by himself, scored 22 points of the Warrriors' 58 and wowing the Staples Center with a couple of moves. Like I said, as an NBA fan, he's a phenomenal player, but as a Laker fan, no defense to stop him. Lucky enough the 2nd splash brother Klay Thompson is struggling, but if he gets going and Curry stays hot, our defense is dead.

Bottom Line

Not a lot to talk about in this halftime post. Again, this is a game for pride against a division rival and this is a game for the Warriors to win in order to clinch a playoff spot. You can tell I pretty much want to wrap this already. Word of advice for the Lakers, try not to get blown out or give up 100+ points, make it as competitive and gritty as possible...if possible.
