Lakers' Young Core Makes Major Strides in OT Loss to T'Wolves
Though this game counts as a loss in the books, the future of the Lakers showed signs of life this game. D'Angelo Russell was the leading scorer for the Lakers, racking up a career high 23 points on 8-20 shooting off the bench, but his clutch heroics fell a little short as the Lakers lose to the Timberwolves 122-123 in OT. Julius Randle notched yet another double-double on the bench, recording 20 points and 12 rebounds and Nick Young was the third leading-scorer off the bench with 13 points. Onto the starters, Lou Williams was the overall top performer this game with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, Jordan Clarkson added 14 points, and Kobe Bryant, for the last time in Minnesota, finished up with 11 points on 5-13 shooting.
