Week 4: RAIDERS @ Baltimore Ravens 2nd Half Open Thread and Discussion
The 2nd half of the Raiders-Ravens Week 4 matchup.
Q4
OAK 28 BAL 27
Just win baby! Just win baby! I don't know how many 2nd half games like this I can take anymore. I'll give props to the Ravens though for playing a hell of a game. John Harbaugh, that defense, there's a reason why they are such a good football team and you never count them out. But, the Raiders found a way to hang in there and just win. I'm just elated right now. More to come in the full recap.
Q3
OAK 14 BAL 12
It's as if the Raiders' coaching staff don't make any halftime adjustments. Last week, they allowed the Titans to get back into the game to cut it to just one touchdown. This week, they're allowing the Ravens to hang around and make this a closely contested game. Quick 3 and outs by the offense and I said this last week, there are three things that kill the Raiders offense 1) presnap penalties 2) holding 3) dropped balls. Clive Walford on the first drive dropped a wide open pass to move the chains. The Ravens are keeping the defense honest running the football better. Now, they're driving again and they have that momentum.
