The Lakers made a temporary stop at home before heading out to their annual Grammy road trip and put it to good use tonight. D'Angelo Russell returned to starting lineup and stuffed the stat sheet tonight with a double-double of 22 points and 10 assists to go with 7 rebounds, leading the Lakers to a 116-120 shootout victory over the Nuggets. Nick Young lead all scorers on the team with 23 points and Timofey Mozgov added 12 points to go with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks to round out the starters. Lou Williams lead the bench with 21 points and added 7 assists and 2 steals (Sixth Man of the Year) and Ivica Zubac followed suit with 17 points and 6 rebounds (he's continues to be terrific off the bench).
