#ReignTogether - 10/19: Opening Night! - LAKERS vs. LA Clippers 2nd Half Open Thread and Discussion

The 2nd half open thread and discussion of the Lakers-Clippers matchup to wrap up a big Thursday night. Laker fans, as usual, leave a comment below and share your thoughts on the game.

Q4

LAC 108 LAL 92

Garbage time eases the margin of defeat. There's a lot of learning to do from this young Lakers team. Tonight, the Clippers showed why they are a veteran team. So far, I heard good things about Lonzo Ball getting teammates involved, which he was expected to do. Brook Lopez lead the team in scoring as expected. Brandon Ingram struggled with his shot. Growing pains, nothing more to be said. Stay tuned for a mega full recap. I will recap both the Raiders and Lakers games at the same time.

Q3

LAC 87 LAL 63

Well, I haven't seen the first half. But seeing the game after three, we see a clear difference between this Clippers team and Lakers team. The Lakers played out there with a lot of jitters with too many hesitations and a lot of over-passing during the quarter. Meanwhile, the Clippers are playing like a veteran team that they are. As of late, neither Julius Randle nor Larry Nance Jr. have any answers for Blake Griffin. Not only is he a beast in the paint, but he can shoot from the perimeter as well. The least the Lakers can do is make the score a little more respectable in the 4th. But, this game is a reflection of how young this Lakers team is so far.
