Q4
BAL 30 OAK 17
Well, the only nice thing in that final seconds is some of the Raiders were giving some love to Austin Howard. He stuck it to them today after being cut in the offseason as the Raiders favored Marshall Newhouse. But, down 14-0 with no Derek Carr in sight, chances of a win are slim to none. EJ Manuel played a good game today, but the Ravens won on 3rd down conversions. Stay tuned for the full recap.
Q3
BAL 24 OAK 17
The defense can never get off the field on a third and long. To start, this quarter was a defensive battle. Both offenses could not get anything going and were generating quick 3 and outs until the Raiders' last drive. Todd Downing opened up the playbook a bit for EJ Manuel to allow the Raiders to creep a little closer. Manuel deserves some credit for the last 3rd down conversion from the Raiders. It certainly wasn't smart of him to have the ball open in his hand and then dive for the first down, but it was one heck of an effort to set up Beast Mode's TD. Let's see if the defense holds the Ravens to a field goal. They've given up some big, crucial 3rd down plays late in this quarter.
