Sweet Lou's Heroics Fall Short for Lakers vs. Kings

*Stats courtesy of NBA.com and Yahoo Sports*

There's an interesting debate brewing after this game since Lou Williams is rumored to be on the trading block for the Lakers before the deadline. Is he stunting the development of this young Lakers' squad? He's the Lakers' constant in terms of scoring off the bench consistently and a fan favorite, but it really is something to think about. Anyway, the aforementioned Lou Williams lead the Lakers with 29 points off the bench, but it was overshadowed by DeMarcus Cousins' 40 point performance as the Lakers fell to the Kings 97-96 behind Cousins' clutch free throw. Sweet Lou had a chance to win it at the end, but he missed the game winning three point shot. Only two starters were in double figures as Julius Randle racked up 11 points and 7 rebounds and Nick Young chipped in 10 points.

Final Score: vs. Sacramento 97-96 [L]
