D'Angelo Russell Drops 40 Points in Lakers' Loss to Cavaliers

*Stats courtesy of NBA.com and Yahoo Sports*

That was quite a battle last night between D'Lo and Kyrie. I've said this in the game against the Suns couple back, D'Lo is better when he plays off the ball. No pun intended, but the way Lonzo Ball is playing in the March Madness tournament, most recently in UCLA's win over Cincinnati, the more  I can't stop salivating at a possible Ball-Russell back court. Now, onto this game, D'Angelo Russell is the obvious top performer for the Lakers with 40 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. The Lakers took the Cavs to the limit, but Kyrie Irving's 46 points helped rally the Cavs to a 125-120 victory. The end result hurts, but the Lakers gotta protect that top 3 pick. Jordan Clarkson 19 points and also 6 assists. The starting five were the only players in double figures. Brandon Ingram had 18 points and 6 rebounds, Julius Randle added 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, and Ivica Zubac added 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Final Score: vs. Cleveland 125-120 [L]
