On a night where the Lakers shot over 50% from the field and got a combined 57 points from the bench, it still wasn't enough to take down one of the West's best. Jeremy Lin was the Lakers' top performer off the bench with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists in the Lakers' 109-106 loss to the Grizzlies. Carlos Boozer and Nick Young joined Lin providing the scoring off the bench as both managed to contribute 14 points. Only two Laker starter were in double figures as Kobe Bryant recorded almost another triple-double with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assist and Ed Davis racked up 20 points and 8 rebounds, but of all people, was the one on the free throw line to potentially tie it up in crunch time, which set up the Lakers' 23rd loss of the season.
