TrueRaiderLaker Score Prediction: SF 23 KC 38
Actual Final Score: SF 20 KC 31
The Kansas City Chiefs end their 50-year Super Bowl drought. Andy Reid finally gets his hands on the Lombardi trophy. And Patrick Mahomes continues his stellar young career. Hands down, this Super Bowl was a lot better than last year's snooze fest. If there's anything taken away from this game, it came down to which team can finish the game.
Picking the winner of this matchup wasn't easy. It can go either way. You had a high flying offense and solid defense vs. the ground and pound running game and good defense. When it came to my prediction, the Chiefs from what we saw this postseason showed that no matter the deficit, they can come from behind due to the fact that they have #15 Patrick Mahomes and the superior weapons. The 49ers are clearly the more balanced team, but there's a lot to ask to have Jimmy Garoppolo put the team on his back if the running game didn't work.
The Chiefs improved run defense proved to be a plus here and it was one of the biggest keys for them to win the Super Bowl. As I mentioned, you contain San Francisco's running game, that puts pressure on Garoppolo to win the game. And you saw it tonight. Raheem Mostert had 220 yards and 4 TDs in the NFC Championship. Tonight, he had 58 yards and 1 TD on 12 carries. They only allowed one big run from Deebo Samuel and that was it. You gotta give credit to Steve Spagnuolo's unit. Spagnuolo's defensive play calling got off to a rough start. But when it mattered the most, his defense stepped up as was the case 12 years ago when he called plays for the Giants defense to beat the Patriots in SB XLII. He dialed up blitzes on Garoppolo. It didn't translate to too many sacks, but the pressure made Garoppolo uncomfortable.
We can't completely discredit the 49ers efforts. Their defense was able to get to Mahomes and they were able to generate two turnovers off of him. It's just that on that second turnover, the 49ers weren't able to go for the knockout blow and Mahomes did what he did best. He rallied the team. The entire offense went no huddle for the majority of the fourth quarter and he was able to toss two TDs to Kelce and Damien Williams to add to a rushing TD early in the 1st quarter. There was no question that Mahomes deserved Super Bowl MVP after dusting himself off of two turnovers. I think the key play that shifted the momentum for the Chiefs entirely was Mahomes' 44 yard bomb to Tyreek Hill. Clearly, the 49ers secondary can't keep up with the speed of the Chiefs' receivers and it showed tonight. Whether it was Tyreek Hill or Damien Williams out of the backfield, they were putting the linebackers and secondary on skates with some ankle-breaking plays.
Overall, this was a refreshing Super Bowl to watch. Both teams were neck and neck in the first half. Niners had some momentum going in the 3rd quarter. But, they couldn't finish the track meet against the Chiefs in the fourth quarter. As a Raider fan, this matchup presented the biggest conundrum. The Chiefs are an AFC West rival. The 49ers are an ex-geographical rival. I'm sure outside of the Bay Area, many Raider fans are upset at the Chiefs winning. I understand that. For us Raider fans here residing in the Bay, the 49ers losing is sweet. They're the ones that helped drive out the Raiders in the first place and hoped to convert the remaining Raider fans here. Regardless, Mahomes and the Chiefs are gonna be a problem for a long time and the Raiders must shift their attention into building a big time counterpunch to that team. As far as the Niners go, they'll still be okay. However, I still question the Jimmy G extension after a small sample size in the 2017 season. So far, it's not a good look with the ACL tear last season and how vulnerable he looked tonight when the running game can't flourish. However, big congrats to Andy Reid for finally winning that elusive Super Bowl title to add on to a stellar head coaching career. Looking forward to next year. I'll see you guys later.

Super Bowl LIV Preview: San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs
*This post was already pre-written and was initially supposed to be posted on Sunday. But due to the sudden, tragic death of Kobe Bryant, daughter Gigi, and the 7 other victims who were on board the deadly helicopter crash, the posting of this was delayed. As I continue to mourn with fellow Laker fans and the rest of the sports world, we will try to rebound and move forward. This post shall be the first step in the healing process.*

Ahhhh, the New England Patriots are not featured in this matchup. No boring, predictable Super Bowl outcomes. This year should be interesting...but they feature the two teams that Raider Nation hates all too well: a bitter AFC West rival and an ex-geographical rival. Whoever wins this, it will leave a sour taste in our mouths. This is your Super Bowl LIV preview between the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers and the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs. Let's see how these two teams matchup.
San Francisco 49ers
Before the 2019 season started, nobody expected the 49ers to do anything special. Most expected this team to finish 3-13 and in last place in the NFC West. And they were a great unknown. Jimmy Garoppolo was coming off an ACL tear, which hindered his significant progress as a franchise quarterback and the "buying in" to Kyle Shanahan's system. There were so many moving parts with this team and nobody took them seriously as contender. Even when they had the top pick to land Nick Bosa, everybody expected the 49ers to make some strides as a rebuilding team, not as contender.
When the season started, all that rebuilding talk went out the window. As the season progressed, the 49ers acquired their team identity. They were a team that was built to run the football to set up play action on offense and had a defense that can get after the quarterback and capitalize in turnovers. Their heavy run game is headed by a three-headed monster in Tevin Coleman, Raheem Mostert, and Matt Brieda. Though by season's end it became a 1-2 punch with Coleman and Mostert. Outside of that, the 49ers do have some decent weapons for the passing game. George Kittle followed up from his breakout year last season and emerged as one of the best Tight Ends in the game. Deebo Samuel emerged as a big play receiver and John Lynch was able to give the receiving unit more help with the acquisition of Emmanuel Sanders. On defense, Robert Saleh did an outstanding job coordinating this unit as one of the best in the league, harkening back to their vaunted front seven in early part of the previous decade. They have a good blend of youth and experience on that unit. They have Nick Bosa, who's as advertised as a pass rusher coming out of the draft as well as Dee Ford, DeForest Buckner, and Arik Armstead to shore up that D-line. Kwon Alexander, Tre Greenlaw, and Fred Warner make up a solid linebacker corps. And of course, they have Richard Sherman patrolling the secondary.
Despite the 49ers starting out hot with a perfect 8-0 record, there was still some skepticism on whether or not this team was a contender. And yes, they had an easy schedule to start against teams that are .500 or worst. The 49ers were winning games, but are they for real? That was the question everyone's asking. Well, they proved that in the toughest part of their stretch, destroying Green Bay at home and piling up with gutsy road wins in New Orleans and Seattle to secure the NFC West and the number 1 seed in the NFC. From there, it was easy pickings against Minnesota in the divisional round and Green Bay again in the NFC Championship, two fringe teams in the NFC North.
Kansas City Chiefs
Unlike the 49ers, we expected the Chiefs to bounce back after a tough loss in last year's AFC Championship game against the Patriots. No one can deny that Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback of the next generation after an MVP season last year. As the Raiders face them twice every year, we pretty much know what this team is capable of. They got weapons: an elite Tight End in Travis Kelce and a whole lot of speed on the receiving corps consisting of Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman, and Demarcus Robinson. This allows Mahomes to sling the ball at will and he's also backed by a decent running game headed by Damien Williams (if only Kareem Hunt didn't f*ck himself).
The Chiefs, as expected jumped out of the gate with a 4-0 start to the season. Then, things started taking a nose dive just a little bit. If you look back at that Sunday Night game against Indianapolis, Mahomes tweaked something in his knee. He was clearly hobbled the next two games and then on the Thursday Night game against Denver, that knee injury gave way on a QB sneak. And you know, Kansas City's offense carries the heavy load since their defense is a very liable unit. Funny enough, since Mahomes went out, the defense stepped up their game for a bit. Speaking of defense, they made some major changes from last year. Out goes Bob Sutton, in comes Steve Spagnuolo as defensive coordinator. They added Frank Clark and Tyrann Mathieu to shore up the unit. Yet, they still had some problems, particularly in the run defense. For the time Mahomes was out, the Chiefs were 1-1 with journeyman backup, Matt Moore filling in while he was out.
Since Mahomes returned in Week 10 that's when things started to right the ship for them. They were able to regain control of the AFC West en route to the number 2 seed. Don't get me started with the Week 13 matchup the Raiders had with them. That was a joke of a pivotal matchup for the AFC West title. The race for that number 2 seed, the stars aligned for the Chiefs. It started with their big win in Foxborough where they exacted revenge against the Pats. Then, they got major help from the Dolphins in Week 17 to secure that bye. We can argue they too faced some pretty fringe teams in the AFC South in the Texans and Titans. But Houston put them in a 24-0 deficit before Mahomes and co went bonkers in the 2nd quarter in the divisional round and in the championship game, they faced a Titans team that knocked off the Patriots and Ravens. By the way, they lost to the same two teams in the regular season prior and they exacted some revenge when it mattered the most. While the offense was fine-tuned, their defense turned it up this postseason, particularly in stuffing the run, holding the opposition's rushing attack to under 100 yards, and Spagnuolo calling more blitzes on third down.
Matchups
This Super Bowl is going to present a pretty interesting matchup. For both teams, this might be their toughest test. The 49ers have had their share of going up against mobile quarterbacks this season. That could present a valuable advantage. If there's any vulnerability in the 49ers defense is that their secondary has some unknowns outside of Richard Sherman and are masked by a ferocious front seven. The Chiefs have a lot of "speed demons" in the receiving corps and they'll likely exploit that as long as Patrick Mahomes is mobile and is able to extend plays. The key for the 49ers is that they have to get to Mahomes quickly and contain his running lanes once he gets out of the pocket. The Chiefs' run defense has gotten better as of late. They held Derrick Henry to under 100 yards in the championship game, but they will face a tough test against the 49ers' RBBC (running back by committee) approach. Raheem Mostert has emerged as a stud and of course Tevin Coleman is more than capable as a weapon in the backfield. If the Chiefs' contain the rushing attack, it'll put a lot of pressure on Garoppolo to win the game for the 49ers. But, Jimmy G showed he's more than capable. He just has to play mistake free and know when Spagnuolo and the Chiefs defense will blitz on third and long situations.
Prediction
Regardless of this outcome, I'm going to hate seeing red as a Raiders fan after next Sunday. Between the two teams, the 49ers have a more balanced roster with a potent rushing attack and a stout defense. There's no arguing that. However, they're in for a daunting task of containing Patrick Mahomes and that well-oiled Chiefs offense. They have too many weapons on offense. You double cover Hill, that leaves Watkins, Hardman, and Robinson open. Plus Kelce is a nightmare to cover over the middle. Their defense is better as of late. If there's anyone who deserves to hoist a Lombardi, it's gotta be Andy Reid. He already has a HOF resume as a coach, but years of early playoff exits hindered some of that legacy. I think he finally gets this one and helps end KC's 50-year drought of a Super Bowl win.

The Silver and Black Shitshow: Chapter 2 - "BYE BYE BAY!"
*Readers' discretion advised*
I was so looking forward to this latest chapter since this shitfest is way too hot to leave out. The last Battle of the Bay was nothing more but the Silver and Black Shitshow bowing out to the Red and Gold Diggers as their monopoly over Bay Area football starts to take its course after this embarrassment. You know as the old saying goes..."only the Raiders." Because only the Raiders can make the 49ers' third-string quarterback who hasn't taken a single snap in the NFL look like the goddamn second coming of Joe Montana. This wasn't even a battle. This wasn't even a "tank bowl" as the great UrinatingTree coins it. It was nothing more than the 49ers doing the Raiders a favor to speed up their departure from the Bay Area. It was their way of saying "enjoy your trip to the desert, now get the fuck out of here!" The beat down was so bad, that even Twitter had to make Nick Mullens account officially official. Like always, the defense once again lied down like a doormat, ready to take it in the ass. They enjoy being anally fucked like a Vegas prostitute. What is a tackle? What is coverage? What is pursuit? What is a pass rush? Literally none of these exist in the English language dictionary for this shitshow of a defense. Even the Tank Commander had a war of words with Paul Guenther about this atrocious defense. Hey, you're the one who traded arguably the best player on that unit! Guenther should've slapped the Chucky out of you, but it's the NFL and the coaches have to act professional.
The offense? Hoho, don't get me started. The only positive on this Thursday Night shitfest is that they put together a good opening drive...only to settle for 3 points. Then, Spider 2 Y Banana.exe decided to crash and burn as the 49ers defense rekindled that vaunted 2011-2014 form. Yes, when they still had the likes of Justin Smith, Aldon Smith, NaVorro Bowman, Patrick Willis, and Ahmad Brooks. Checkdown Derek went from Checkdown Derek to Sack-Down Derek. The offensive line was as pathetic as a subway entrance gate in letting this 49er D-line penetrate all over them that they decided to have a little fun and audition for the next Karate Kid movie. In fact because of this, we get to see a lot more screen time for Johnny Townsend and see how much of a godawful punter he is. He should change his name from Johnny Townsend to Johnny "Get his ass out of Town and Send him packing." This guy could not even punt the ball past San Francisco's own 30 yard line. It's no wonder the 49ers had such great field position all game long. Back to the O, with Checkdown Derek eating up 7 sacks, the Tank Commander decided he's had enough of watching his $125 million quarterback get pummeled to near death and decided to put in A.J. McCarron. Perhaps sending that 5th round pick to Buffalo was worth it after all. Never mind, he too couldn't do anything behind this makeshift O-line. The time he fielded something good, Daniel Carlson proceeded to miss a field wide right. You can take Daniel Carlson out of the Vikings, but you can't take the Vikings out of Daniel Carlson. Curse those choke artist placekickers from Minnesota!
If I was Jon Gruden, I wouldn't have shown my face after this shitshow in what would be the last Battle of the Bay. You claim that you love Oakland and the Oakland fans, yet this was an example of putting a dagger right into your Bay Area loyalists by losing to the 49ers. I can't even fathom how some Raider fans are happy about this lost. It's no wonder why we clown out-of-town fans because they don't understand that the Bay Area has a lot of pride in their teams. This was bragging rights that was on the line. I don't give a crap if this team is leaving, tanking, and throwing middle fingers up in the air to City of Oakland and the entire East Bay. Fact of the matter is, you never lose to these Red and Piss Gold fucks, especially if you're still a Bay Area team. Since they reside in my goddamn city of Santa Clara, you've brought me shame to be a fan!
The number one rule for teams in rebuilding mode is you never sign aging vets whose glory days are behind them. If it didn't work the same Raiders in 2014, what makes you think it's going to work in 2018? Especially when you trade your promising young talent who haven't hit their prime yet. Now, these vets are just there to cash in their last check before they hit the AARP as they don't have any young star players to complement. Look no further as they released Derrick Johnson and Bruce Irvin and when Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie decided to pull his best Vontae Davis and just retire. At this point, this team in general just doesn't give a flying fuck playing for a Pinocchio coach who has lied to the press constantly and severed ties inside the locker room. It also starts at the top. Mark Davis has this team and organization in a downward spiral. From a divide between the coaching staff and front office to players divided and not giving a fuck anymore since this season is a wash. You think the move to Vegas will miraculously change everything? It will not as long as this dysfunction that has clouded this organization for the past 16 years exists. And unfortunately for Vegas, they have to deal with this shitshow for nine more years. $100 million well spent. Better hope those 5 first round picks pan out for you Vegas or you'll be dealt a dead man's hand courtesy of the Silver and Black Shitshow.
UPDATE: So Libby Schaff got re-elected as Mayor of Oakland? Welp, there goes that lawsuit as they'll probably drag their feet once more and take action when the Raiders already have one foot out the door to Vegas! Congrats voters, you just hit the final nail in the coffin for this already dead franchise.

New Changes to the Blog
Good morning Raider Nation, Laker Nation, if you passed by this blog overnight, you might've noticed some changes in the blog in terms of the layout. In addition, I've changed the background and the banner. I didn't think the whole Iron Man mascot didn't fit what I envisioned and I just wanted to see my anime harem. To be honest, I think they make me feel at home more. If you guys are big on anime and I know sports and anime don't go hand in hand together all the time, you might know some of these characters. Somebody that I know Photoshopped this for me and man, I was so happy that this became a reality. I mean c'mon it's my favorite female anime characters all drenched in the colors of two of my favorite sports teams! They just fit better and it's totally more bad@$$ than my poor Iron Man mascot edit.
In addition, starting next year, I contacted my friend, Stillmattic and considering he doesn't have much to talk about on his Bleach blog. I offered him an opportunity on my blog and soon, we will become raidersxninersxlakersxwarriors.blogspot.com. I know this is not a favorable outcome for my readers who know that I bleed silver and black and purple and gold for life because then we'll have an all-out war between raiders-niners fans and lakers-warriors fans, but we'll work it out and because of common interests between Stillmattic and myself, we'll find a way to tie in some anime here in there with color edits of our favorite female characters in our team colors. How awesome that would be!
These are some changes to the blog. I'm looking forward to these changes, hopefully you guys look forward to this too. Let me know what you guys think in the comments section. I'll see you guys later.
(April Fools! I'll set it back to normal shortly.)

Raiders Gain Bragging Rights in The Bay
Alright welcome in to the full recap of the 13th Battle of the Bay game between the Raiders and the "San Francisco" 49ers or is it Santa Clara? Doesn't matter. The Raiders got up, stood up, and fought to gain the victory over the Niners 13-24 and gain leverage, leading 7-6 all-time against the team across the Bay or forget it down I-880 from where I live.
I'm just trying to control my emotions right now while I'm posting this. Currently, I'm also having an argument with a Niner fan, who is also a good friend of mine on Facebook, but I just told him to pipe down. They won 3 straight Battle of the Bay games against us before this game and now we broke that streak and gain the lead, now they won't leave us alone. I don't know, some Niner fans just don't quit don't they? Anyway, what a game. I was nervously shaking and I was yelling my freakin' @$$ off. I need to exhale before I do this post, but oh well, let's get to this.
The Positives
Derek Carr, 22 of 28 passes, 254 yards, 3 TDs. The Carr is finally running. I repeat the Carr is finally running! What's funny is that there was an article on which QB would you take, most former NFL scouts said they would take Carr over Kaepernick, while the media "experts" said otherwise they would take Kaepernick over Carr. Well, the "experts" were wrong and the scouts were right. Carr completely outplayed Kaepernick this game as Kaepernick completed only 54% of his passes compared to Carr with 78% and not to mention, Kaep had those 2 picks. Carr's performance this game is putting his naysayers on their heels. He's only a rookie, he'll make rookie mistakes, but this game, he grew up and played like he has been in this stage before.
R&R. This should be the initials for the duo of Marcel Reece and Mychal Rivera. Rivera had a big game today with a perfect 7 receptions for 109 yards and a TD, Reece had also a perfect 7 receptions for 64 yards and a TD. Rivera's communication with Carr this game has been remarkable and it lead to this unexpected big game against a good 49ers defense. For Reece, I've developed an initial: G.T.R.B. = Give Reece The Ball. And boom Reece was given the ball and did damage as well against the Niners in the passing game. Greg Olson, I hate you, but I'll give you 100% credit for developing a near-flawless playcalling on offense and Reece and Rivera provided much needed help for Carr in the passing game.
Defense. Like I said before, the defense absolutely came out to play. Oh my goodness, they were just pressuring Kaepernick all game long. Antonio Smith had 2 sacks, Khalil Mack had 2 sacks, Benson Mayowa also had a sack. Sio Moore, Tuck, Burris, bringing the heat. I'll keep looking back to that Brandian Ross INT because that INT set the tone that the Niners are not going to run lapses around us, not in our house. And of course you got C-Wood coming up big with an INT to pretty much seal the game. 59 career interception, man just one more to get to that big 60. 17 years and still coming up big. Just like I gave credit to Olson, hats off to Jason Tarver for calling more aggressive defensive plays. I absolutely liked that he dressed with some black marks on like he wants to be there to. That's priceless.
The Negatives
Penalties. The penalties have been a thorn in the eye for this game. Raiders committed 10 penalties for 84 yards, but some of those were ticky tacky. Of course the Austin Howard penalty was unnecessary, but just too many PIs, illegal contacts, holding on the secondary, a lot of them were questionable like the refs were pulling for the Niners. But the Raiders managed the will to win mentality aside from all the penalties going against them.
Conclusion
Oh man, Stillmattic must be shaking somewhere on his Bleach blog. Check out our Smack Talk post two days before the game. First became a Niner fan last year, then the Seahawks won the NFC championship and the Super Bowl and now my beloved Raiders beat his Niners. Hey, he hid from me as a Bronco fan when the Raiders dropped 59 points on them 4 years ago in Denver. So Stillmattic, if you're reading this, it's over, you can't hide from me now in terms of football. You denied that Denver game, but since you rep the Niners you know with your Gold Blooded merchandise and your posters that you probably jack off to night and day, I'm afraid you can't deny this one my friend. Anyway, the Raiders travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs, but I'm going to enjoy rubbing this win in a lot, especially since I live in Santa Clara. Even though it's a loss season, this game was the sweetest one to take out of this season. Bragging rights belong to us! The Niners may have an Empire, but there is one Nation they will never conquer, THE RAIDER NATION! Anyway, I'll see you guys later.
Week 14: BATTLE OF THE BAY RAIDERS vs. San Francisco 49ers Q-by-Q Reaction
Q4:
Score: SF 13 OAK 24
Enough said. Stay tuned for the full recap.
Q3:
Score: SF 13 OAK 17
You can tell Derek Carr wants this game, our defense wants this game. Carr is really coming to his own, his communication with Rivera to get open was evident, setting up a TD by Reece on the slant. He's also following through the progressions of his receivers, not a single pressure fazing him. 4th quarter, crucial 3rd down drive. LET'S GO! FINISH!
Q2:
Score: SF 10 OAK 10
A competitive game so far. I would've loved the lead heading into the half, but at least we just limited them to a field goal. Like I said, a tough, gritty game. Whoever endures in the 2nd half will get this win. Onto the halftime report.
Q1:
Score: SF 7 OAK 3
Good run from Latavius Murray to end the 1st quarter, but dammit I was livid when I saw McFadden as the RB in that 1st possession. Defense got off to a good start. Congrats to Brandian Ross for that 1st INT against "Kaeperpick." The defense came out to play until that last 49er drive, all because our offense isn't doing much. Luckily, Sebass made a 57 yard field goal at the start to put the Raiders within 4, although that was for the lead early on.
RAIDERS vs. 49ers Halftime Post
Score: SF 10 OAK 10
Alright welcome in to the halftime post of the BATTLE OF THE BAY between the Raiders and the Niners where both the Bay Area teams are all tied up at 10 a piece.
The Positives
Derek Carr, 10 of 14 completed passes, 93 yards, 1 TD. After a shellacking last week against the Rams, Carr is bouncing back in a big way so far. Even with the 49ers having Justin Smith, Ray McDonald, and Aldon Smith, Carr is staying calm in the pocket and alluding away from the pressure. That TD to Donald Penn was awesome, I'll say that and that provided a little laughs and giggles from us Raider fans as that TD gave the Raiders the lead.
Defense. Defense has come to play so far. That Brandian Ross INT on the first drive for the Niners set the tone for the defensive unit that hey, you're in our house and we'll take it to you. Surprising thing is it's not Sio Moore, Khalil Mack, or Justin Tuck that's sacking Kaepernick, though they are generating enormous pressure and that helped Benson Mayowa and Antonio Smith gets sacks on Kaepernick, though we gotta stop him when uses his legs.
The Negatives
Penalties. A couple of penalties were unnecessary and a couple more were a bunch of BS from the refs. The Austin Howard penalty, definitely I can agree on that, that was a bad penalty. However, some of these PI penalties were just complete crap. The PIs are going the Niners way, but not our way, particularly when Butler and Holmes were contacted, those were not called, but Tarell Brown and D.J. Hayden were called on PI even though Hayden's was understandable. I thought that was a bunch of BS.
Bottom Line
Well at least we got the ball in the 2nd half first since we deferred on the coin toss. The Raiders need to continue to play tough against the more physical Niners. Please, Raiders, I'm begging you, show up for the 2nd half and fight on!

BAY AREA BRAGGING RIGHTS: RAIDERS vs. 49ers Smack Talk Post (with Stillmattic) Part I
Good evening Raider Nation and welcome to a special Smack Talk post in which my friend, Stillmattic and I, we engaged in a war of words here. Keep in mind, we've had this conversation beforehand and I transcribed all this in a Word document. Considering the length of the conversation this will be split into two parts. I'll say the first part here, we started with some fireworks, then the conversation escalated into a weird @$$ direction thanks to Stillmattic bringing up references to other interests we have in common. Anyway, I'll leave out a key here to denote which one of us is talking and enjoy this entertaining bantering.
KEY:
MG = MechG
SMT = Stillmattic
*WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE VIEWER'S DISCRETION ADVISED*
SMT: FUCK YO RAIDAHS! #GOLDBLOODED
MG: #RNFL FUCK THE FORTY WHINERS!
SMT: Gold outshines Silver boi. You know nothing about the worth of that shiny shine shine.
Yeeeeeeeee
MG: Whatever. Alright guys welcome in to a special smack talk post for the 49ers - Raiders game Let me first welcome in to the True Raider Laker, the T.R.L. Stillmattic of Bleach Zealot.
SMT: WHOOO! And this weekend it's the Battle of the Bay and a storm's coming ladies and gentlemen. It's been years since the two duked it out.
MG: Yeah, I told you he writes the best intros. Lol. Anyway Stillmattic and I go way back. We've had a couple of collaborations on his blog, currently were on our third one. But here is our fourth, only this time I have the home field. Lol.
SMT: Home field advantage or not, we are here to prep up for the upcoming game. Bantering before the game only showcases our incredibly desire to see the game in action. So without further ado, I think Khan from Star Trek said it best, "Shall we begin?"
MG: But first, tell the Raider Nation about yourself. Don't worry, they are not going to completely trash you. Maybe in a second but you get the point. So Stillmateezy how did you become a Niner fan?
SMT: I became a Niner Fan when my family started taking an interest in the team whenever they were in the playoffs. It was an exciting & frustrating time because we never made it to the Super Bowl and it was always some team like the Saints orr Seahawks that managed to win the title in the end. Prior to taking an interest in Football for that matter, I supported my cousins's love for the Denver Broncos. I just recently last year began taking an interest in football so as to create an identity for myself much like my fondness for the Golden State Warriors in Basketball.
MG: See I told you guys, the guy used to be a Donkey fan until we dropped a fifty burger on them in their own stadium!
SMT: HEY! I resent that notion. Though my cousin still adores the Broncos, I'm now and forever will always be rocking the gold blooded. Peyton Manning or not, my heart shines for the red & gold. Kaepernick needs to step his game up and not sock ya hear. That last game was a disappointment and Sherman once again getting a little too cocky. I believe the 49ers may have a chance if we follow 3 words: DON'T FUCK UP!
MG: Kaepernick? More like Krapperdick. But no worries yeah that was a Thanksgiving day every Niner fan wants to forget about. Hey look on the bright side, my Raiders just got shut out 52-0 against the Rams
SMT: My mind is scarred still ladies and gentlemen. It was such a lovely Thanksgiving dinner until the Fire Nation (49ers) got their @$$e% handed to them by the Water Tribe (Seahawks).
MG: See guys the thing about Stillmattic is that he hasn't suffered that much as I did.
SMT: But I believe we can beat a team that lost to the Rams. Literally, they got Rammed in the Arses 52-0. I have yet to suffer as MechG said, but I'll soon be on my way.
MG: Dude, you have 7 wins and still in the playoff hunt. We just only got 1 win and playing for a top 5 pick in the draft!
SMT: 7's a lucky #. All you guys did was take a piss. You're getting crapped on and f*ed on all sides. Face it ~ the epic showdown we're seeing this weekend comes down you guys taking a #2 or us winning 8 games, which in the Bible means "A New Beginning." A new beginning for us means there's hope yet. Jim, I gotta tell ya, we need you more than ever ya sexy bastard you. Oh btw, this here poster signifies the epicness of this week's game:
MG: Yes that is epic. But you want to know a secret about Jim that will possibly scar you for life?
SMT: What's that?
MG: He got his first coaching gig from the Raiders.
SMT: He realized then that Silver doesn't shine as bright as the 49ers and hence why he's aiming for GOLD
MG: Nah man there's a reason why he wears black all the time. Look at his cap, look at his long sleeve all black. He has the look, the attitude of a RAIDER! It's too bad he's on a Niner team that has Squidward as a Quarterback and an ass of an offensive coordinator. #JimHarbaughtoOakland
SMT: The 49ers love Jim. Jim stay because you can turn the team around so that we don't suck dick like what happened in the last game. Be smart with the plays and follow through. Kae has to not worry about getting pummeled. Ji may have the attitude of a Raider, but his heart belongs now to the 49ers. #Jimisthemanwiththeplan
MG: Your owner and GM is saying otherwise. Kaepernick is not a QB. We have what the Niners do not have and that's the QB of the future. And that QB is DEREK CARR! It's too bad he's surrounded with a SHITTY SUPPORTING CAST AND A SHITTY COACHING STAFF!
SMT: Derek Carr, more like Derek Hardy Har Har. And you want to know something coincidental MechG?
MG: What? Or enlighten us.
SMT: My gurl right here is rocking the 49ers Red, Black, & Gold. We mustn't lose our way! #Ryuko49er
MG: How come you guys keep losing your way to Seattle then? Huh? HUH?
SMT: Sometimes a winding road is difficult to cross. It's a sign that we need to focus more on the road rather than getting lose in it. Pitt said it best ~
MG: Lol...
SMT: This is going to be a Battle of the Bay played out in bantering & Memes! If that's how you wanna play ya Gayder, then it's on like Donkey Kong!
MG: Hey you may have Ryuko riding the Blood and Piss oops I mean Red and Gold. But I got Lightning repping the Silver and Black!
SMT: Then why she always so emotionless? It's like you guys are trying to fuck up. Lol yet she sports some gold....a traitor perhaps?
MG: Before I resume, if you guys don't what Stillmattic and I are doing. Go to Bleach Zealot and look through all the Fight Night archives or check my YouTube channel youtube.com/mechg2994 for the references.
MG: Hey I see a little orange in Ryuko. Those are not Whiner colors. Those are Donkey colors. And I hate em either way.
SMT: Ryuko's scissor blades will cut through all black & silver.
MG: Ok, ok I think we're plugging something unrelated just a little too much. It's good to draw in some Anime and Video Game fans who are Niner and Raider fans, but let's get back on topic.
SMT: Hey, Chelsea's on our side too. She rocking the red & black. She got a heart of Gold behind her mischief And Akame as well. But.....I digress.
MG: Ok, lol. First Kill la Kill, then Final Fantasy, now Akame ga Kill, I don't even know where this is even going.
*Part 2 posted below*
RAIDERS-49ers Smack Talk Post Part II (with Stillmattic)
This is the final part of our banter. The first part was basically an appetizer and basically both me and Stillmattic exchanging insults and memes and it got to the point where we really went off topic and start referencing stuff that we have in common like Anime and video games. In this part, this is where we get to the meat of the whole conversation. We start being more analytical and start exchanging cold hard facts regarding both of our teams and their respective fanbases, the Niner Empire and the Raider Nation. Enjoy.
KEY:
MG = MechG
SMT = Stillmattic
*WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE VIEWER'S DISCRETION ADVISED*
SMT: This is bringing in the best of both worlds. Cuz we Soaring and Flying over the Raider Nation. It's Leonides vs. Xerxes ladies and gentlemen. Leonides leads us into battle while Xerxes (Carr) just waits for us to attack
MG: Why do you guys even call yourselves the Niner Empire then if you're going to reference the Niners as Leonidas and the 300 spartans? No Xerxes is Kaepernick while Carr is Leonidas. The Niner Empire is the Persian Empire and the Raider Nation is SPARTA! GET IT RIGHT! Because we will fight to the death to remain in Oakland to remain in the Bay Area and what better way to shock the Bay Area by beating the best in the Bay!
SMT: Talk the Talk, Walk the Walk, but you're no bite. You bit off more than you can chew. Talk is cheap and unless you prove this weekend, the Empire crushes Nations. We shall overcome because we are headstrong.
MG: Well I'm not gonna sugar coat that. Our last regular season win against you guys was in 2000. Almost a decade. I bet you didn't know that fact did you? See that's how you separate the bandwagoners from the loyal and dedicated fans. Funny thing is you weren't even a Niner fan when they won against us 2002, 2006, and 2010 so how can you brag when you still have to witness a win first hand as an actual fan?
SMT: I'm like a baby taking his first steps. I've been informed about our past victories and I can proudly say, I am glad you were crushed. #Newbeginnings #Themoreyouknow
MG: And apparently that baby tends to cry and whine whenever the Niners lose. Just like every Niner bandwagoner out there. And you know what grinds my gears?
SMT: Your team sucking this weekend?
MG: The have the nerve to take their frustrations out on us every single fucking time they lose! Even in the years we're not playing against each other. Here is the basic algorithm for Niner fans:
Did the Niners win?
YES => Talk Shit about the Raiders
NO => Talk Shit about the Raiders
SMT: We're a proud team. Everyone else is the enemy. We like the Terminators, ya'll are targets
MG: And then there's the Shermanator that kills those Terminators. But you know something? It's Kaepernick's lucky day! He gets to throw to another #25!
SMT: He better not F up this time. This is the BATTLE OF THE BAY. Bay Area be going apesh*t over this. We've been waiting for this ever since it was announced. Kaepernick, you DO NOT WANT TO DISAPPOINT US BY PASSING IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!
MG: I could totally imagine "Kaepernick throws IT'S INTERCEPTED BY D.J. HAYDEN! You know who we also got? Your former teammates who know you guys inside and out. Tarell Brown and Carlos Rogers! Except Rogers is out for the season, but still we got Tarell!
SMT: Teamwork is the key this. Where was yours during the RAMS game?
MG: Where was yours when the RAMS shocked you in your own house? Because Kaepernick was fumblin and tumblin.
SMT: Seems like your coordination was a bit off and your perceptions were off as well. So what makes you so sure that this weekend won't be the next Masscare? We both got F'd in the RAMs It's like they want us to pit against one another and the winner dukes it out with them in a rematch. You guys will be fumblin, tumbling, jumblin, crumbling.
MG: Do you even see the games? Your offense is not that good and Kaepernick looks lost out there. I see all the games, I hear the complaints from Niner fans. Hey just be lucky you guys have a solid defense because your offense ain't doing shit
SMT: That's why we prepping. Prepping and ya'll be wiping yo candy @$$es
MG: By the way, guys in the comments section who do you think is winning these war of words? Comment Stilmattic or MechG below and let us know.
MG: Don't let the next game against the Seahawks at Seattle get through your head. Ask the Chiefs they were looking ahead to Denver over us for 1st place in the AFC West and you know what happened? We caught them by surprise and gained our first win. Cuz we're the RAIDERS and even though we don't have a winning season in the past 12 years, we find ways to spoil the hopes and dreams of playoff and potential Super Bowl contenders and catch those motherfuckers by surprise!
SMT: Highlander: There can only be one. This Weekend ~ Battle of the Bay.
MG: I think that's good place to stop. So time for some final thoughts. What do you think the Niners should do to get this win?
SMT: And what do you the Raiders need to do to amp up their game? Comment below and let us know
MG: So Stillmattic, what do your Niners need to do?
SMT:
1) Not F Up
2) Not choke
3) No passing it to the other team
4) Keep our Cool
5) Be Aggressive
6) Offense & Defense needs to be balanced
7) No Fumbles
8) Try to get 1st Down quickly
9) Think before you act
10) Kiss your biceps long
And what of you MechG, what is your strategy that you'd recommend to the Raiders?
MG: Well this is where my football expertise comes to play:
1) Defense has to show up (Jason Tarver's playcalling included)
2) Give Marcel Reece the ball
3) Give Latavius Murray the ball
4) Greg Olson has to stop calling pussy ass offensive plays
5) O-line's gotta contain Ahmad Brooks, Justin Smith, and Aldon Smith from getting to Carr
6) No quick 3 and outs
7) Turn Khalil Mack and Sio Moore loose, they have the speed to get after Kaepernick
8) This is in OAKLAND! And this may be the last Battle of the Bay game if the Raiders decide to move out of Oakland after this season
9) Derek Carr, like Tony Sparano said this is your team, this is also a game for bragging rights, make good decisions and override Olson's boring @$$ playcalling if needed
10) Receivers, CATCH THE GODDAMN BALL WHEN DEREK CARR THROWS TO YOU! Get separation too and run the right freakin' routes!
SMT: 10vs10 Perfect!
MG: Well, looks like that wraps it up. Stillmattic a pleasure working with you. We managed to get through this without any fist fights or brawls happening.
