Al Jefferson's Big Night Helps Bobcats Beat Lakers
Pau Gasol was the Lakers' top performer with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists on 9-17 shooting, but his performance was a complete opposite to his Bobcats counterpart, Al Jefferson. The former Utah Jazz player put one of his dominating performance against the Lakers scoring 40 points and 18 rebounds, even though the Lakers tried to rally, Jefferson's big night ultimately put the Bobcats over the Lakers 110-100. Jodie Meeks added 19 points, Ryan Kelly added 13 points, Kendall Marshall chipped in 10 points and 12 assists, and Nick Young was the leading bench scorer with 21 points, but then again, his shooting woes continue to manifest itself as he shot 8-22 from the field this game.
