Lakers Fall to Magic, Finish 0-2 in Florida Road Trip

Another competitive road game, another loss. Kendall Marshall, all-around was the Lakers' top performer with 19 points and 14 assists on 7-14 shooting, but the Lakers were again outplayed in the final minutes from the Magic as three Magic players had 20+ point performances. Tobias Harris' 28 points and 20 rebound performance, Arron Afflalo's 23 point performance, and Jameer Nelson's 22 point performance helped lifted the Magic past the Lakers 105-114. Pau Gasol added another double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Ryan Kelly had his bounce back game after a dismal display in Miami scoring 15 points on 5-8 shooting. Jodie Meeks added 17 points and Nick Young came off the bench with 16 points, but his shooting slump continues as he shot 6-16 from the field. The Lakers wrap up their Grammy road trip Sunday, heading over to the Big Apple to take on Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks. That game will be televised, so expect a Q-by-Q, halftime post, and full recap.
