Lakers Put Up Competitive Battle Against Heat, Same Results as X-Mas Day

For those expecting a Q-by-Q reaction, halftime, and full recap of this game, I forgot to tell you guys that I have a night class from 6:30-9:30 every Thursday so I apologize for not announcing earlier. Anyway, the Lakers travel to Miami where they have won there since 2008. Once again like the X-Mas showdown, the Lakers took it to the 2x defending champs, yet again, they fell short. Pau Gasol was the Lakers' top performer with 22 points and 11 rebounds on 9-15, but couldn't give the Lakers the W as Chris Bosh's 31 point performance and LeBron's double-double performance put the Heat over the Lakers 102-109 without Dwyane Wade. Only two Laker players joined Pau in double figure point categories as Jodie Meeks added 22 points on 7-13 shooting and Nick Young came off the bench with 19 points, but shot 8-20 from the field.

Final Score: @ Miami 102-109 [L]

Next Game: @ Orlando (01/24)
