Lakers Cap Off Back-to-Back Texas Trip with Loss to Rockets in Houston

Dwight waited for the 2nd matchup and got what he wanted against the Lakers the 2nd time around. Pau Gasol was the Lakers' top performer scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists, but the Lakers lost control of the game in the 2nd half lead by Dwight Howard's 20 points and 13 rebound performance and James Harden's 38 point outburst as both performances helped the Rockets beat the short-handed Lakers 99-113. Jodie Meeks added 21 points and Nick Young, probable for tonight's game, bounced back scoring 25 points off the bench. Both Wesley Johnson and Jordan Hill added 10 points in the starting lineup and on the bench.
