Lakers Fall to Jazz Late, Losing Skid Continues

The world continues to tumble upside down on this young Laker squad playing without their veteran corps of Kobe, Gasol, and Nash. Chris Kaman was the Lakers' top performer recording a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds filling in for Pau Gasol, who is receiving treatment for a respiratory infection. The Lakers fought hard, but the Jazz fought harder as they edged the Lakers 103-105 in Utah after a Derrick Favors putback dunk. Aside from Kaman, 2 starters and 3 bench players contributed in double figures. Jordan Farmar played better in his 2nd game back scoring 16 points and dishing 7 dimes and Jodie Meeks chipped in 13 points, but shot 4-15 from the field and missed the game winning shot. Nick Young lead all scorers off the bench with 21 points on 10-17 shooting, but fouled out this game, Xavier Henry added 12 points, and Jordan Hill recorded a near double-double with 16 points and 9 boards.

Final Score: @ Utah 103-105 [L]
