Q4:
Score: NO 132 LAL 125
Mike D'Antoni be like...
Just like the Kings game last Friday, except the Lakers are on the other end of the stick this time. Stay tuned for the full recap.
Q3:
Score: NO 95 LAL 85
Hash tag Bazemoring. Kent Bazemore has started to come alive this quarter and providing the scoring from outside to the inside. Lucky enough the Pelis have missed some free throws to make this a close game. Turnovers are still costly, but the Lakers have to keep the momentum on their side for another 12 minutes to capture a 3rd straight win.
Q2:
Score: NO 67 LAL 51
Great three pointer by Meeks to end the quarter with something positive, but like the Laker announcers say: this is a half to forget about. Even though most players are starting to find their groove, Gasol is still the only Laker in double-figures. Onto the halftime report.
Q1:
Score: NO 35 LAL 23
It was either run and gun the D'Antoni way or feed the ball in the post the Gasol way and the Lakers chose to get Pau going early in the paint. Somebody else at some point has to get hot and help with the scoring. Only 2 points from Wes, 1 point from X, 2 points from Farmar, and 3 points by Bazemore. Other than that, it has been the Gasol show this quarter and the defense has to step up because the Pelicans are shooting away and attacking the basket at will.
