03/06: BATTLE LA III: LAKERS vs. Clippers Q-by-Q Reaction

Q4:

Score: LAC 142 LAL 94

Sums it up, worst loss in the of the regular season in the Lakers' history and now the worst home loss with a 48 point blowout. Stay tuned for the full recap.

Q3:

Score: LAC 109 LAL 60

Interchange "day" with "time" and pretty much Ricky Caldwell sums up this quarter perfectly. Smh.

Q2:

Score: LAC 73 LAL 40

Obvious enough that the Clippers have stopped toying around with us. This quarter, they've showed us why they've won 5 straight in a row and keeping within striking distance with Houston, Portland, San Antonio, and OKC. Onto the halftime report.

Q1:

Score: LAC 29 LAL 27

Nice play to beat the buzzer at the end of the quarter by Xavier Henry. I gotta say, I'm seeing better defensive commitment from the Lakers than the Tuesday game vs. the Pelicans, letting the Clippers earn every shot and not giving them easy baskets on transition. Defense generated 9 turnovers, the Lakers just have to keep this energy up for the next 3 quarters.
