03/09: LAKERS vs. OKC Thunder Q-by-Q Reaction

Q4:

Score: OKC 110 LAL 114

What a game. Looked like the Lakers were gonna clamp down and choke on the lead against the Thunder at Staples again, but they learned their lesson the last time and pull off yet another shocker this week against one of the best teams in the West. Stay tuned for the full recap.

Q3:

Score: OKC 75 LAL 87

Standing ovation for this Laker team this quarter. Jodie Meeks, when he's hot, he's hot, outscoring the Thunder alone in the 3rd 20-19, currently the Lakers' top performer also. Once Meeks got cold at the very end of the quarter, Farmar started to come alive, hitting 2 three pointers and now the Lakers have a chance to redeem from the last game before all-star break, closing out the best team in the West in the 4th.

Q2:

Score: OKC 56 LAL 51

Talk about a sloppy 2nd quarter for both teams. Lakers' activity this quarter woke me up and OKC has made it a habit of blowing by inferior teams and find ways for the game to get out of control from their hands. Onto the halftime report.

Q1:

Score: OKC 35 LAL 26

I honestly can't believe this is a still a televised game on ABC considering the way the Lakers are playing. That four point play Durant made, just a boneheaded foul by Wesley Johnson and basically summarizes the trend the Lakers are playing right now, in fact, all season long.
