03/14: LAKERS @ San Antonio Spurs Q-by-Q Reaction
Q4:
Score: LAL 85 SA 119
No contest, simply no contest. Stay tuned for the full recap.
Q3:
Score: LAL 60 SA 89
A better quarter from the Lakers, but yet again the depth of the Spurs is the reason why the game is still not even close and it has not been the whole game since the beginning of the 1st quarter.
Q2:
Score: LAL 34 SA 61
How on earth did Kendall Marshall miss that layup at the end? Nothing else to say, back to back games hurt. Onto the halftime report.
Q1:
Score: LAL 14 SA 29
Sloppy game to start with offensively for both teams, but the Spurs turned it up and showed why they are still one of the best and most consistent team in the West. I lost count how many times Kawhi Leonard destroyed Ryan Kelly and the Lakers got to start getting the jump shot going because this Spurs team is underrated in the paint defensively. Reason why the Spurs have this massive lead early, good ball movement and penetration and busted defense from the Lakers.
