Lakers Fall to Nuggets in yet Another Offensive Shootout

"Offense sells tickets, but defense wins games/championships." In the Lakers' mind, nothing matters as they get involved in yet another shootout. Pau Gasol was the Lakers' top performer with 27 points on 12-21 shooting, but yet again no defense leads to major high scoring losses as the Lakers put up a better effort offensively, but defensively fall to the Denver Nuggets 126-134. Jodie Meeks added 16 points and Ryan Kelly added 24 points and 11 rebounds off the bench as Meeks has a bounce back game and Kelly has a superb game in a long time (surprisingly he is the only player with a double-double). Xavier Henry had his off night on the bench scoring 10 points, but shot 3-9 from the field. Kendall Marshall and Jordan Farmar continued the tale of two point guards this game as Farmar provided the scoring off the bench with 24 points but dishing out 4 assists and Marshall provided the facilitation with 14 assists, but scoring 8 points and continuing shooting woes as he shot 3-9 from the field.

Final Score: @ Denver 126-134 [W]
