Lakers Back Up to .500 with Win Over Nets

The Lakers cap off their back-to-back stand with a win over the reeling Brooklyn Nets. Nick Young was the Lakers' top performer, picking off where he left off last night, scoring 26 points off the bench and shooting 50% from the field to help the Lakers pull away from the Nets 99-94. Jordan Farmar also picked up where he left off last night, not a great game like he had against the Wizards, but still played an efficient game with 15 points on 5-9 shooting. Pau Gasol added 21 points and 8 rebounds and Jodie Meeks added 11 points. These players did not score well, but they performed well on other ends: Jordan Hill had 2 points, but grabbed 12 rebounds, Steve Blake had 9 points, but dished out 10 assists, and Shawne Williams, off the bench chipped in 4 points, but grabbed 10 boards.

Final Score: @ Brooklyn 99-94 [W]
