Lakers Grab 3rd Straight Win vs. Kings, Back at .500
The Lakers are slowly taking baby steps to get back to winning formula and it continued tonight vs. the Kings. Pau Gasol was the Lakers' top performer with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist to help propel the Lakers for their 3rd straight win this season against the Kings 86-100. Xavier Henry contributed big time off the bench after a series of cold games, erupting for 21 points on 7-11 shooting. Mr. All-Out Hustle, Jordan Hill, did his thing as usual getting after the ball, scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Jodie Meeks chipped in 14 points, bouncing back from a horrid shooting performance against the Warriors Friday night, and Steve Blake, didn't shoot well, but facilitated well again, finishing with 9 points and 12 assists.
*The game against the Washington Wizards is indeed going to be televised on NBA TV starting at 4:00 pm, but I have a class that doesn't end until 4:40 and the commute back home is erratic. So I won't do a Q-by-Q, Half Time Post, but I will do an impromptu full recap.*
