Week 13: THANKSGIVING SPECIAL RAIDERS @ Dallas Cowboys Q-by-Q Reaction

4th Quarter:

Score: OAK 24 DAL 31

The word that reappears on the Raider dictionary after this game. Stay tuned for the full recap.

3rd Quarter:

Score: OAK 21 DAL 21

Absolutely pathetic play calling in the 2nd half on both sides on the ball. 3rd down defense is starting to haunt us again. I don't know why Tarver keeps calling these soft zone and 3 man rush plays on every single 3rd down, just inexcusable to watch this kind of performance in the 3rd quarter.

2nd Quarter:

Score: OAK 21 DAL 14

Power football for both teams. 2 rushing TDs by Rashad Jennings and 2 rushing TDs by DeMarco Murray in this half. I like how we controlled most of this quarter and kept Romo off the field for the majority of the quarter. However, I thought the defense was too vanilla on the final minutes when the Cowboys drove quickly to put them within 7 and I didn't like that. Onto the halftime report.

1st Quarter:

Score: OAK 7 DAL 7

Points off turnovers have been the main topic of the game so far. Off the opening kickoff returns, Terrance Williams fumbles, recovered by Greg Jenkins, happy for the rookie that he earned a roster spot again. Good awareness to return it for a TD. The fumble by McGloin, inexcusable to let the Cowboys back in. On a miscellaneous note, welcome back Veldheer.
