Lakers Still Couldn't Get Winning Streak Going vs. Nuggets
The Lakers head over to Denver looking to get on a winning streak Wednesday night, but we're stopped short. Jordan Hill, once again stepped it up as the Lakers' top performer with 18 points and 15 rebounds, but the Nuggets countered with Timofey Mozgov off the bench. Mozgov's 23 points and 9 rebounds and helped propelled the Nuggets past the Lakers 99-111. Pau Gasol, finally had the game he needed to bounce back from several off games scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Steve Blake added 15 points and 11 assists, again filling in more Steve Nash, Wesley Johnson added 11 points, and Nick Young came off the bench with 11 points, but had a poor shooting night.
Announcement: If I ever get home early from my programming lab tomorrow in time for the game or while the game is still on, there will be an impromptu full recap for the Lakers' game against the Warriors since it's on ESPN. If I miss the whole game or if I get home just to see that the 4th Quarter is on, the game will be done on a quick recap format like this game against the Nuggets as scheduled.
