Lakers Fall to Suns, 0-5 For the First Time Since 1957-58 Season

When I said in my preview that the Lakers would be better this season, I would take some of that predictions back. Kobe Bryant was the top performer last night scoring 39 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 assist, but the Lakers yet again couldn't contain the Suns as 3 Suns players score 20+ points to rally and beat the Lakers 112-106, giving them their worst start since 1957-58 in the young NBA season. Jeremy Lin added 18 points and Carlos Boozer added 13 points. Jordan Hill has been hot the last two games shooting, but didn't follow up for a 3rd as he only chipped in 15 points and 15 rebounds on 4-10 shooting.

Final Score: vs. Phoenix 112-106 [L]
