Lakers Reel in First Win of the Season

Late post, but better late than never. Well, finally something positive to post about in this blog! Although, this game wasn't televised. Charles Barkley said that he "won't eat until a Lakers win a game." Well I guess the Lakers got the memo and they didn't want Chuck to starve to death. Jeremy Lin was the Lakers' top performer with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists on 8-12 shooting to help the Lakers get their first win of the season and Byron Scott's first as head coach of the team in a 92-107 victory over the resurrected Charlotte Hornets. Four other Laker players besides Lin were in double figures. Kobe was Kobe, tallying up 21 points, Carlos Boozer added 16 points, Jordan Hill added 12 points, and Ed Davis came off the bench racking up 10 points.

Final Score: vs. Charlotte 92-107 [W]
