12/23: LAKERS vs. Warriors Q-by-Q Reaction

Q4:

Score: GS 105 LAL 115

Note to self: even if it's garbage time, a game is never over till it's over. O-V-E-R. Nonetheless, good win, but letting the margin of victory slim down big spoils the Lakers' big win after playing a complete game, till this quarter happened. Stay tuned for the full recap.

Q3:

Score: GS 73 LAL 95

Ronnie Price is not known too much for his three point buckets, but boy were all of those 3 pointers he took gave the Lakers an even more cushion to put the Warriors back on their heels when Curry made that little run. Still good for the purple and gold, now all they gotta do is close out.

Q2:

Score: GS 48 LAL 63

Thompson and Curry may have started to find their grooves this quarter, but as long as any Warrior is not joining them on fire, the Lakers will be fine. So far, so good for the Lakers as they are just playing inspired team basketball and giving the Warriors all they could handle on both offense and defense. Onto the halftime report.

Q1:

Score: GS 24 LAL 34

Well how did the Lakers do with Kobe sitting out this game? I'd say they're doing just fine. At first, the Warriors were clicking on all cylinders and I was out there shaking my head like "here we go again." Then Wesley Johnson started clicking, Ronnie Price was being an all-around guy, the bench mob with Boozer, Lin, and Young shows up and all of a sudden momentum has swung in our favor. Lakers are taking it to the Warriors who have the best record and this quarter is a preview of how this is setting up to be a "trap game" for the Warriors.
