Week 17: Final Game of the Season RAIDERS @ Denver Broncos Q-by-Q Reaction

Q4:

Score: OAK 14 DEN 47

Game's pretty much over, but run up the score the Denver Broncos did. Hate that team, I really do, but there's nothing the Raiders can do to compete against that team with the talent they have. Score will change if a garbage TD happens, but glad this game is literally over and this season is over with. Stay tuned for the full recap.

Q3:

Score: OAK 14 DEN 30

Holmes, you had one job. ONE JOB. Perfect execution from McFadden and Carr on the flea flicker, Andre Holmes wide open, and he dropped it. This is why we need to draft Amari Cooper. The Raiders are still fighting out there, but that dropped pass, not electing to kick a field goal is definitely some momentum killers.

Q2:

Score: OAK 7 DEN 20

Not too much action in the 2nd quarter, but man the offense is just a total dud so far in the first two quarters. Too much conservative plays leading to the defense being on the field far too long, but they still managed to make it a manageable margin. Onto the halftime report.

Q1:

Score: OAK 7 DEN 10

Still a crazy turnover the Raiders generated, but good awareness from McGill on not waiting for the whistle and take it all the for a TD. However, we're giving the Broncos too much cushion. Quick 3 and outs by the Raiders' offense coupled with good field position given to the Broncos, not a way to start a game. Despite that defensive TD, the Broncos responded in a big way and driving in Raiders territory.
