Lakers Hammered by Pelicans

*Just trying to play catch-up with the latest Laker games I still haven't posted yet. I had finals this week, which derailed any time for me to post anything during the week day. Also, I was still a little hungover over the Raiders' win vs. the 49ers, but after I did all the Q-by-Q, Halftime Post, and Full Recap, I went straight to studying.*

After failing to coming out strong during the 3 game East Coast road trip, the Lakers returned home and got a surprise "welcome home" by the visiting Pelicans. Ed Davis, replacing Carlos Boozer in the starting lineup Sunday night was the Lakers' top performer with 12 points and 7 rebounds, but it had minimal effect as Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday powered the Pelicans past the Lakers 104-87. Kobe Bryant and Wesley Johnson round up the starters in double figures as Kobe scored 14 points and Johnson chipped in 10 points. Nick Young was the Lakers' leading scorer off the bench with 13 points, but shot 3-13 on the field, Carlos Boozer added 12 points on 6-12 shooting, and Jordan Clarkson rounded up the double figure scoring off the bench with 10 points.

Final Score: vs. New Orleans 104-87 [L]
